grad students
The Dennis lab currently has students from the Integrative Genetics and Genomics (IGG) graduate program. Applicants interested in rotation projects in our group are encouraged to apply directly this graduate group.
We are currently accepting experimental and computational rotation students for the 2024-25 academic year to work on available projects in the lab, including:
Testing genes important in human brain evolution using zebrafish
Assaying genetic variation in human complex regions and associating with traits and disease
Genome assembly of diverse species to narrow in on complex genomic differences leading to gene and regulatory divergence
Students interested in rotating and learning more about projects in the lab should contact mydennis[at]ucdavis.edu.
